Christmas Eve Sugar Free Savoury Cookies
Ingridients:
• 4 cups flour
• 4 cups finely grated Farmers Old Cheddar Cheese
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 Farmers 50/50 Spread
• 1/4 cup Farmers 2% milk
• Marmalade
• Almonds, finely ground
• (The amount of jam and nuts that you will need depend on the size of your cutters)
Method
1. Mix the flour, Farmers Old Cheddar Cheese, and salt together. Cut in the Farmers 50/50 Spread until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the Farmers 2% milk.
2. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and grease cookie sheets.
3. Roll out the dough to 1/8 inch. Cut into pairs of cookie shapes.
4. In a small bowl mix the jam with the nuts. Place a teaspoon of filling into each cookie. Cover with another cookie and seal the edges. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
