Homemade Dulce de Leche

Stirred into your morning coffee or drizzled over ice cream, this homemade Dulce de Leche recipe is simply delightful!

  • 1 L (4 cups) Farmers 2% Milk
  • 310 mL (1¼ cups) sugar
  • 1.65 mL (⅓ tsp) baking soda
  • 5 mL (1 tsp) of vanilla
  1. Stir together and bring to a boil the Farmers 2% Milk, sugar and baking soda. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring frequently, for 1½ hours.
  2. Stir in the vanilla and transfer into a bowl to cool.
  3. Makes 355 mL or 1½ sweet and delicious cups.
